Personal information we collect
When their customers visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about their device, location, use of software tendencies, including information about their web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on their device.
Additionally, as they browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that they view, what websites or search terms referred them to the Site, and information about how they interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information”.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on their device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including their IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how they browse the Site.
Mobi technology does not use any “cookie technology” without their consent. When they sign in, they will have the opportunity to keep themself signed in after they leave the site. By selecting this option, they will give their consent and opt in for Mobi to use “cookie technology”. If they wish to opt out of using “cookie technology”, they can simply uncheck the box that keeps them signed in. If they don’t sign in, then by default Mobi doesn’t use any “cookie technology” because there was no opt in and consent by them as the buyer. They, as the buyer, will be able to have full control of their cookies and if they allow Mobi to track their behavior or not.
As described above, we use their “Personal Information” to provide them with advancements to their ordering process, enhancing their interaction and transaction experience, help analyze their buying behavior to enhance their usage experience, track their purchasing tendencies to eventually use AI to maximize their purchase opportunity and minimize their time spent, targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to they, and much more.
For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s (“NAI”) educational page at http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.
